The Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 3700 is where the story began. Designed by Gerald Genta and introduced in 1976, it brought the luxury sports watch to Patek Philippe with its porthole-inspired case, integrated bracelet and horizontally embossed dial. Nicknamed the "Jumbo" for its 42mm width, the original Nautilus is powered by the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 28-255 C. This extremely rare example in yellow gold is offered in excellent condition. It is the Nautilus in its purest form, long before the modern hype, and a grail reference for serious collectors.
